Happy Birthday, Dad!!!

This post is late, but we were out of town on my dad's birthday and life has been crazy since then, so I am only just now getting around to posting about it.  Dad's birthday was actually all the way back in May, May 26 to be exact.  Now on to the post.... I have been blessed with a wonderful dad, he is one of my best friends and I can always count on him.  However, because father's day is in a few days, I plan to share the details of our special father/daughter relationship until then and just have a fun post celebrating my dad and his birthday.  :-)

Because we were out of town on his actual birthday, we had our grandparents over the day before and celebrated it then.  :-)

 These balloons were originally planned for Jacqueline's birthday this August.  However, When Tim Tebow was transferred to the Jets, Jacqueline no longer wanted the Broncos to be her birthday theme.  What can I say, our family likes teams for the players!  Thankfully, dad was a great sport and let us use them to decorate for his birthday, he is just a big football fan.  :-)  (He does, like us though, like the Jets better now though.  :-P )

Isn't he adorable?!?!?!?!  For some reason our cats always seem to steal the show, what can I say, when you have it you have it, and they definitely have it.  LOL

He started opening it really slow and proper, and like always we all cheered for him to tear the paper, and like always, he eventually did.  :-)

He was so excited, we got him the God's Not Dead CD by the Newsboys!  (It has been listened to a lot already, think it was a hit. :-) )

There really is one candle for every year!  It made for a beautiful sight when they were all lit!!!

Happy birthday, dad!  I am so glad that God chose to give me you as my dad!  I hope and pray that we get to celebrate many, many more of your birthdays.  I LOVE YOU!!!
