Another birthday!!!

Happy birthday to my youngest, sweet sister, Jacqueline!   I am so thankful that God chose to bless me with her so many years ago.  She has brought so much fun and laughter to our family from the beginning.  She is always guaranteed to bring joy into a room with her.  I love you Jacqueline, and happy birthday!!!  <3

Jacqueline's birthday theme was Anthem Lights

Happy birthday, Jacqueline!!!

I just had to add this picture of our baby, Tiger at the party  :)

Piano Recital.... from June... in August... I am LATE!!!

Hi everyone, I am sorry for the long period of silence, but life has finally found its way back to normal and I have time to blog again.  I thought that we would begin where we left off, the piano recital in the middle of June.  I am afraid that there is a lot of catching up to do!  All of the kids did so great!  As far as I am concerned it was a success, there were no major mistakes and all of the kids are looking forward to the next one this Christmas.  A large amount of my students were able to make it, but sadly several of them were not able to participate due to either being out of town or another activity that was previously planned.
I like to have goodies for the kids at each of the recitals, but I did not have time to make cookies this year.  I was at our church both the evening before and the morning of the recital for rehearsals for the upcoming Fourth of July program.  My sisters were so great and offered to make the cookies above and bag them for the students!

With my students, they are so great!

We arranged to take pictures with them at the piano afterwards.

This little girl's mom was not able to make it to the recital because of a family emergency and showed up right as it finished.  Thankfully we were able to arrange for her to play her songs for her mom again!
Below are some short videos from the recital.  None of them are very long, thirty seconds at the most, because my mom was filming from her phone and did not have much room.  All but four or five of the students present have only been taking for one year or less at the time of the recital.  The longest any of my students at the recital have been taking is two years.  I have one girl I teach that could not make it to the recital that has taken a little longer.  I think that they are all doing great.  I hope you enjoy the videos!
